I never have any problems with doing the MC34063 MK1.5 design on
vectorboard, just however I like to lay it out that day. I'll take some
pictures so you can see my general placement and understand how tolerant
this design must be for it to work the way I do it. :)

hand-place and hand-route the hvps. I was planning on copying the 555-
plan layout because it is the ONLY set of plans that I have seen
implemented as a non-SMT one-sided board. If I could find a
1771/34063 layout from a reputable source that was one-sided non-smt,
I'd jump all over it.
