I suggest poking around with your scope to see if any unacceptable noise 
exists, and also running at different supply voltages. You dont want a 
marginal design.

The last switcher I did failed to work from a bench supply, but ran 
perfectly on a battery. Turns out the leads from my bench supply were too 
long (inductance).
