The 1st thing I would do is
check the power supply connections. On that desk, they should be screw
terminals under the patch bay (unless this is one of the newer
table-top models made by Sytek?) and on the back of the PS-3. If those
look ok, pop the lid off the power supply (UN-PLUG IT FROM THE MAINS
FIRST!) and have a look around for burnt or discoloured parts. Pay
special attention to the areas around the left and right sides where
the pass transistors mount to the PCB and the heat-sinks. Also look at
the fuse holders that are mounted on the board there. Let us know what
