Without a 2 mix insert, it is really hard to do without using a channel but your idea of panning to one side, adjust the gain the go to the other side and see what the difference is, is a good way. Check that both of the outputs are the same level, then look at the meters. Sometimes there is a fine adjust or tweek pot on the meter card or the use a resistor for a "fixed" reading. Do this if the outputs read the same from the console. Good Luck, Clark
