I bought my 28-channel Series II about five or six years ago. When I got it, and even though it was working OK, I decided to spend the time recapping it, re-switching it (the ones we use all the time), cleaning up older "tech" work, and just making sure everything was in order. Since I finished the "restoration," which took less than a month of evenings, the console has been BULLET-PROOF
