You can get the Nessus Client as a seperate package from nessus.org. It's
right there on the site.

Whether or not you have the Nessus Client on a seperate machine or on the
same machine as the server is a matter of your preference, needs, and
resources. I have actually run the server hard enough to cause the client to
become slow, but that was scanning a very large number of machines at once.

Hello,

I have successfully installed Nessus server (3.0.5 for Linux OS).
I would like to know how to start with the GUI based Nessus client for
selecting the options in Linux.
Should I have to do some installation separately for Nessus Client? If so
let me know where can I get the client installation exe for Linux.
Should the client be in the same Nessus Server machine or the Nessus
client has to be installed in a separate machine??
Kindly let me know some answers for the above queries as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Girish
