Two issues have come to light so far, both on Mac OS X (Leopard)

Firstly, the default run of "configure" does not detect the
characteristics of the system correctly. This is due to the
activation of "--enable-embedded-perl" which introduces an
invalid set of compiler flags.
    See the thread
        "Problems installing NET-SNMP on Mac 10.5.2 "
on -users (20th April) for more details.

Secondly, having disabled embedded perl, the suite (mostly)
compiles OK. But it fails one of the test cases, because the
output of walking the udpTable is wrong. The index values
are listed in the wrong order "1.0.0.127.{port}" rather than
"127.0.0.1.{port}".

I've verified that the same problem occurs with 5.4.1 as well.

I have a vague recollection of something similar arising in the
past.

Dave
