Hello,

I made some changes to the snmpd code (and some .so files will also get
impacted).
Now I want to build a binary rpm package for the my modified net snmp.

Is there a ready referal source which can give me the exact steps carried to
build a binary rpm package for RedHat9.0?
If not, it would be great if someone could tell me these exact steps? I need
to know the exact options that are supplied to .configue when the
sourceforge distributed binary rpm is created.
FYI the changes I have made to the source code are for a specific use case
that I have. And the use case is - handling snmp requests on different ports
in the master agent and then depending on the port value sending some
information to each registered subagent.

Another question I have is that under the licensing terms of NetSNMP is it
fine for me to distribute a locally made binary package? After reading the
copyright it appears I can, provided that I abide my the terms laid out. And
these terms essentially emphasize carrying the 'no liability' statements of
the institutions that have contributed to the code.

Regards,
Viren
