CSS is not really part of HTML 4. It defines a general mechanism
for using style sheets, but it does not require or enforce a particular

Hm, internally, V handles <DIV> equal to <P> (with different
spacing), so I wouldn't know why <P ALIGN=CENTER> would work
and <DIV ALIGN=CENTER> wouldn't. I don't know by heart
whether I fixed something in this respect, though. <shrug> History.
