I'm afraid it doesn't. Eg there are 3 people in the world. One has a
'manhood' of 10". One is 3". The other is 5". Average=(10+5+3)/3 = 6"
. So the average is 6" but two-thirds have smaller ones. Not 50%.
So maybe everyone in the UK is bigger than 6", except one person who
is miniscule!
Now to make this on-topic. Wouldn't it be nice to have a sort of
'average' calculator in the cost logger (when it starts working
accurately for UK phone bills) for call length, call cost etc?
Of course it would have to have standard deviation and variance built
in to stop some plonker thinking that half his calls were longer than
average and half were shorter! (no offence).
