No problem - send it back and we'll sort it out for you or send you a fixed
one. The new Hypercom 1 cards now work on all 1D4 motherboards (and the
occassional 2B that also has problems), due to the fix being on the board.
The 'just a couple of capacitors' thing is a result of a problem with the
motherboard and, you can either get that fixed from Power/Eyetech, who put
the capacitors on the board for you, for �30, or you could have the
capacitors put on the card itself. This is what has been done with the
latest Hypercoms.
The advantage of this is that they work, the disadvantage is that if you put
another card onto your clock port, and it doesn't have the fix, it won't
work as you don't have the motherboard fix.
Anyway, I have no problem with you sending it back...I'll just get it
swapped for a card which will work on your motherboard.
