A less technical, shorter explanation here:
On my old 030/25 I always had images on maps only, and only loaded the
images I really wanted. When I got my 040/28 it all went super fast -
I now load images all the time and a highly graphics intensive site is
speedy enough. This is, of course, after they are downloaded - my
connection speeds are the same (Surf Squizzel).
I don't know how an 040/28 compares to an 030/50 but I think there is
a major difference. Basically, there's probably nothing wrong with
what you're getting.
