+MS sets the maximum and minimum connect speeds. Set these to the same
value and retrains are disabled. However, that probably means that
you'll get dumped offline if the modem's not allowed to retrain, because
you're trying to fix the symptom, not the cause. It's a bit like fixing
low oil pressure in your car by taking the bulb out of the warning
light.
