I have a 1d4 REV Mother Board

and I can't use my HyperCOM either but using the internal serial port,
8n1.device and serprefs serial prefs program i use 115200 baud (it won't
connect at anything less or more :-) and get connection speeds of 52000 with
Prestel and 49666 with Free4all, as shown in Genesis window. I get very few
non-connections, and these are usually with Free4all, and they are usually
the "lines are busy, call back later" type. I know that with the HyperCOM it
could be faster but with having to replace the engine in my car the
modifications to the mother board will have to wait :-(
Just as an after thought my mate has an older 1200 than I do and he uses
the HyperCOM device but I don't know what revision his mother board is.
