No, I have a 1A A1200 and a 1B A1200. The 1A is dead. (A1200's don't like
coffee... :( ), the 1B is in a tower and running well. I don't have a
hi-speed serial port, since I have an Ateo Bus and I would prefer to make
use of the spare ISA slots (I have only used one so far!!), 1A's and 1B's
have a full 40pin clock/chip RAM expansion header, the Clock port side is
the rightmost pins, I believe...

Yes, some A1200's don't have clock ports at all. The 1D4 and 2B *do *have
timing problems. It's fixed by soldering a resistor on the A1200 M/board I
believe...

Slow internal port, use 8n1.device it does get that little bit more out, I
can use (wait for it), the internal serial port on my 040/40MHz at 57,600
baud, oh yes! :) How much for the HyperCom anyway, just out of interest...
:) (It's 45 for a Ateo IO card, but you do get 2 serial ports and EPP
parallel port...)

Regards

Nick.
