Yes, I had a lot of anger at that point, not just at NC3.
Just letme get one thing out of the way first: I have nothing but
respect for Chris and the great things he has done for the Amiga.
Getting NC together was nothing short of outstanding.
I do feel that he has handled his (possible) departure from the scene
in a manner which left his users in some confusion. It should have
been handled better.
My real frustration was at Blittersoft (who couldn't manager an orgy
in a bothel) and their total mishandling of the BoXeR situation, at a
local Amiga dealer who offered me a price on a new A4K (including a
trade-in on the A2K) and then said, "but we can't supply half the gear
now and if you won't pay everything now you won't get the trade-in"
plus a few other things. It was wrong to get as angry as I did
about NC3, but it just happened to be in the way at the time.

I agree.

Not only that. The actual sales people are wierd. I mean I've
been trying to spend $3000 for two years and no-one wants to take my
money!

That was an exaggeration, for which I apologise.

I've got a TEAC CD-R on order and am on a waiting list for the new PIV
if they make them. Neither of which precludes the A4K. Still
hoping.
Cheers
