That's how I read it. You are asked to return your NetConnect 2 CD,
which is not the same as giving up NetConnect 2.

Because people don't appreciate the difference between the piece of
plastic holding the software and the licensed software itself. If they
did, there'd be no need to ask for the return of the CDs in the first
place :(
