Good Point...

I can't appreciate your feelings, since I am new to the 'net on my Amiga at
least, and I got NC3 straight off from Eyetech. It was annoying that I had
to spend time downloading V3pre5 but it was worth it, it's a nice browser,
and shockwave isn't too bad on my '040/40. However, it isn't entirely
Chris's fault, but maybe he should've waited a tad longer for the progams to
come out of Beta stage. But then if they worked for the author, Chris and
the Beta testers, then they wouldn't have know it wouldn't work on the
majority of systems.

4 in my case, mFTP is fine.

MetalWEB is not worth it currently, you're much better off still using Ed to
be frank, and wether I bother with 4pre2, I'm not sure after what I have
heard. I thought this list was meant to be forum where we could easily
share our problems with other users *and *the developers. Seems not, as you
say Tony, and that means that there's a lot of pent up frustration, as you
are showing, and I can see why... This is what makes owning an Amiga a
pain, but at the end of the day, the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

MD-II, I have not fathomed this one out, neither do I want to do so. I am
using YAM 2.0 and that's where I am staying, it's a superb mailer IMHO.
> Chris has taken his ball and gone off to sulk in the corner.
I can say about this one, but he only has reared his head above the parapet
once since I signed up to this list, and that was the result of me damning
MetalWeb!! :) It should get better, hopefully... I do have all respect for
Chris though, because if it wasn't for him, I for one, and others, probably
wouldn't be reading this mail now... IYSWIM
> And they wonder why the Amiga market is shrinking !!
The problem is support, not the software, hardware or for the fact that the
Amiga's market is tiny, it's just that the after-sales-support can sometimes
break down.

I've already got it Tony! :) The NC3 keyfile is handy though! ;-)
Oh, how's the decision of Gfx. cards going Tonym, chosen yet, or holding out
for an A4K?
Regards
Nick.
