Hi, Duncan Gibb ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
You emailed about "[netconnect] (no subject)".

Do you mean Octopus? That is the toolbar tool used by NC-3.
Personally I had so many problems using Octopus that I am using the
toolbar from NC-2 instead.
One way to see if "Octopus" is the problem is to take it out of the
loop. Manually open the AmiTCP folder in your NC-3 installation and
run "Genesis". If you have multiple accounts then select the account
you want to use and select connect. Once online then use the programs
you want by navigating the Programs folder yourself and double
clicking on the program you want to use. If everything works relaibly
then Octopus was the cause of your problems.

They cannot be ignored if you launch from the program icons in their
respective folders. It is posible for Octopus to be configured to
ignor the icons stack settings though. If the default setting is too
low the more intensive programs will lock up or crash. MD-2 and
Voyager will lock up here if the stack is too low.

I have a simular setup to yours with the exception of the CV-PPC and
CGfx3. I am having no problems at the moment with NC3 but I have had
a few with WB3.5 (Usually resulting in a lost RDB, So I'm operating
with a lot of backing up at the moment).
I had a lot of trouble with NC-3 initially. I then stopped using
Octopus and upgraded Voyager and Webvision to the latest Vapor
versions.
