It gets weirder...
I tried copying the files over as you suggested but to no avail - I
then almost lost the lot when copying them back to get MDII 1.3
working again to email this. *hehe*
It turns out I also have CManager.mcc v13.5 installed. However in my
libs directory I have CManager.library v 2.1 but after I'm told that
CManager.mcc needs to be at least 13.1 (I have 13.5) then it tells me
I need CManager.library v10
Presumably though that may be too high to work with my current version
of CManager as present in NC2.
I'm -really- confused now!
