This info was from two friends who have run their business web site with them,
not on a home user account. Both are very pleased with the service which
they've been running for nearly two years. Though I have to admit it's PC
based. 

There is of course all sorts of other decent service providers out there. Is
there anyone who uses Freeserve's web hosting? I'd be interested to know what
the service is like.

But you don't have to use the software supplied do you? What's wrong with
Miami, Yam, MicroDot, etc.?

Maybe I'll subscribe to some of the Demon newsgroups and have a look at what's
happening.
