That's what I mean, they'll feed you what you want to hear, based on truth
rather than hard fact.

I used to use a company based near Wembley stadium, (I

You mean Gasteiner, they were at WofA'99 selling harddrives, ram etc. Also
who remembers Siren, Gordon Hardwoods, PD Soft and CD Soft, First Computing
Centre, and Golden Image. Most of these still either directly support
Amiga products or at least won't laugh in your face when your looking for
that standard piece of hardware for AN AMIGA!!!; they just don't advertise.

I got a few old CU Amigas (RIP) that I had missing from my collection, from
a friend a few weeks ago; the January 1997 (only 3 years old) had a full
back cover advert for SWOS '96/'97. It seems so long since we had this
kind of financial backing in the market. Perhaps it won't be too long
before we see adverts like this again.

Sixth Sense Investigations is worth 5 but the other two I wouldn't folk out
that kind of money. At the end of the day I wouldn't use it on the
principle that they are trying to deceive Amiga users into clocking up
phone bills so that they can get rid of some poorly selling games. My
opinion of Epic in general is that they are commerial shovel-ware sellers
who will push programmers for deadlines and try and make a few quid shoving
what they can on a disc. We should discourage such practices and encourage
the likes of Clickboom who seem to always put quality first.

Just some more personal opinions there,

Regards
