That is a shame. But you have to rember that keeping archives cost money,
strage etc. Now it nice to know in future things like this don't have to
stay this way. MP3's and MPEG-2-Video(DVD) will save space which will make
it cheeper to keep.
The only problem which could exist is contractal ie copyights of artists and
proformers etc. Would such an action breach there contracts as this would
be writen in to them.
