My recent comments (today :)) were all focussed on 3.2: I installed it
and Bingo, it worked okay! I did mail Ollie a thank you note, as I did
on this list. As to 3.0 being more stable than 2.96, there were mixed
feelings about that on both this list, and other mailing lists that
discussed the subject. After almost a days use of 3.2, without
crashes, I think (don't want to be premature, but I might be right)
that version 3.2 is indeed more stable than any 3.x version before
that, and even more than 2.96. 2.96 was the only one I had working
without crashes at all (maybe it was just me being lucky?), something
I have not managed with 3.0-3.1, despite following all the tips here
on the list. I won't complain about it, since I now am the happy owner
of 3.2.
