Heh. :) I guess you can use whatever version you want!  I am very
puzzled that you should think 2.96 was better though.

I had any number of crashes with 2.96 because of some problem with
running out of chipram.  Some of the early V3 prereleases were very
temperamental, but I've found V3.0a (3.0.52) to be solid as a rock. 
The speed and features of V� over V2 are amazing...  Perhaps you could
describe your problems with V3 and your system in detail and people
can try to help?
