If I understand you correctly, you only have to select the mail in the
group, and hit the delete butten in the group window. If you now close
this group, the mails will be moved to the Trash group, and will be
deleted upon menu selection : MicroDOT->Empty Trash (followed by
MicroDOT->cleanup database).
