The word 'pirated' is very interesting. I was about to go to press with NC3
when you told me that you wanted the device removed, which as I stated at
the time, was absolutely impossible *and* I had 30 days from the time you
first told me (last summer) that you didn't want to work with us anymore
(although, interestingly, the reason all came about from Thomas' bugs in
appp.device which, IMHO, caused the problem/tension in the first place!),
which was impractical to meet.

Yes, but Thomas you really need to work out the market situation! You really
totally overestimate just /what/ Haage can use a device for, and how *long*
they can use it for!

AFAIK they want the unlimited license so that they can ship it to OS 3.5
customers. They priority is *not* NC and Genesis, as these sell in very
small quantities, their priority is OS 3.5.

But, of course, OS 3.5 sales are already falling over, which is to be
expected. OS 3.5 sales will be almost 'zero' by the end of the year.

You were asking Haage for 5000DM or so DM for 6 months, then another 5000DM
for another 6 months. So, you wanted, in effect, around 2000 for the 6
months after the end of July.

This is starting to border on the ridiculous! We are talking about an
appp.device here!

The other irony about the entire situation is that you make almost no money
from the actual appp.device, apart from what I/Haage would pay you! So, it's
not as if you're going to go on to make 'thousands of pounds', if you don't
do a deal with them.

You make the entire situation seem very one-sided, but, believe me, asking
for these kind of figures, for a small part of a TCP/IP stack (in most
people's eyes), when you don't make any money from it, apart from these
licenses, is ridiculous.
