They are stored on the old PC (which I've not turned on for months now!), so

No, not at all, that was something quite different, generated by the guy
from VMC who was nagging both of us about all these IO card/appp.device
'problems', which were quite different from that BT Internet 'rebooting
Amiga' appp.device problem, that still occurs today.
