Be aware, Thomas, that a) most people (except the odd one or two) are very
happy with the Active/NC situation, and always have been and that b) all
other programmers were happy with NC2/NC3 (mainly NC2 sales), except you.

I've told you before - the way you go about 'sorting these things' isn't the
way that any other person/programmer operates. You wrote a very nice
one-sided email explaining the situation. I didn't respond to most of these
points, or it really *would* turn into a major slagging match, in public.

For instance, you fail to say that you demand not only an initial deposit
payment (1000 afair?) but also a slight royalty *increase* for appp.device
sales within NC3, last summer!

Hold on? Why on earth should NC2 users, upgrading to NC3, get the *same*
device, but have to pay again *and* even pay more? So, in effect, they would
be paying twice for the same device? The device has barely changed since
December 1998. In fact, the current appp.device is from December 1998.

Now, I was quite happy to match you royalty payments for NC3, but, with the
state of the Amiga market, I wasn't prepared to pay for a deposit - mainly
as I *knew* that NC3 sales wouldn't so good. In fact, this is been proved
true as we've only sold 700~, which would have been less than the deposit
paid to you to get appp.device into NC3!

Chris.
