Slight typo - I meant 50667, not 52667 - but this is still more than I used to get.  I 
did have the modem set to one speed down and only ever got 48000 odd.  Put the modem 
up and it went higher :)

So I'm a happy bunny.  What "errors" are these anyway?? line drops (minimal)? data 
corruption? (not that I know of, unless my amiga.org troubles are symptamatic of 
this..)?
