What would you consider "average" for v.90? I've got everything in my
house channelled through a v.90 modem to BlueYonder, and get 53,300
every time. Not unusual to see 13-18K/s on text only pages like
Aminet, but my miggy doesn't have to handle a serial port. Using
WinNT for dial-in, and shifting the data over a 10Mbit LAN does have
its advantages, even if it does mean allocating about �800s worth of
dedicated hardware and software just for the priviledge ;)
