If I have two computers and I want access to one from the other via
internet, are any of these suitable? All the ones I have looked at so
far had limited or no security. One described its security as
"security by obscurity" meaning nobody would think of trying that
port number.
ATM I use PortalOpening2 which almost works very well, but not nearly
as well as an FTP server with FTPmount would be. PO2 is like a
password protected BO. I do like FTPMount--I can almost forget
sometimes that drives I mount on my desktop are on the other side of
the world.
I do want to have server and client on both, and available whenever on
line--not just mounted as the occasion arises, but they have to be
well password protected. What do you recommend for that?
