According to my Sun / ND trainer

First version of iPlanet will support ND5, with minor modifcations
Second version will not support ND5 and 100% will not support ND4

If your developments / applications are mostly EJB's then the upgrade /
migration will be minimal between ND5, iPlanet 1 and then 2. If you don't
rely on EJB's at the moment START doing.

iPlante 2 is a COMPLETE change to the system and will not support current ND
applications.

Sun has bought an another company and got a
application server called Forte'. Is this also going
to be syngerized in iPlanet versions?

Do we have any press release on Sun's future
strategies in application server market?

I didn't find any in iplanet.com. Please let me know
if there are some.

Madhu
