I think the idea is to work on NetSurf instead of wasting your time in
front of the TV :-)

More seriously, I do spend my evenings programming instead of watching
TV.  I don't find entertainment very entertaining.

So why don't I work on NetSurf?  Well, I've looked at a couple of major
projects in C written by other people.  I eventually took fright after
failing to make head or tail of them.  (If C isn't written following
good coding standards, it can be a write-only language.)
