Right... especially since I've had no noticeable problems with other
Net-Tamer online functions.

When I was watching my newsgroup downloads, I noticed that the ISP
connected to a newsgroup site called (I think) "supernews", and this
site makes arrangements for other ISPs' newgroup services, just as you've
mentioned.

It's actually surprising how much you *can* do with a 2400 bps modem, even
during busier times of the day/night.  It isn't all that frustrating,
actually -- it's just a matter of knowing the right time to connect and 
and learning how to maximize limited resources under various circumstances.

Exactly!  Sometimes, even very narrow bandwidth has its advantages... <g>
