Walter... thanks for the response. Actually, before you replied, I
started wondering whether or not my problem was related to the access
of a website -- and wouldn't you know, it *was* a CNN weather site that
I have normally accessed many times before (for satellite pictures)
that caught me off guard. Really, it's disgusting. What's most
aggravating about it is that you never know when these people have
changed anything with their websites until you crash at their doorstep.
This is not just a problem with Net-Tamer's compatibility, but it's
a problem with inconsiderate website designers. If the same rights
we expect in normal democratic societies were practiced on the Internet,
such behavior would be promptly classified as minority abuse and
protests and/or lawsuits would follow!

Personally, I don't think that any of us -- at any time during its
development -- could consider Net-Tamer's *browsing* ability to have
been a serious feature of its design. It's just far too limited to
be taken seriously on a professional level. But for casual basics
where graphics are not that necessary, it's certainly worth further
development. For example, we know that there's a lot of excess and
duplication of information on the WWW -- why not make Net-Tamer
capable of informing us of what we can and can't access and suggest
to us alternate sites that *can* access the material that we seek?
At least Net-Tamer should have a better warning mechanism to prevent
us from crashing at unfriendly sites. Is such a feature possible?
