  Yes, I agree, I've got a copy of 1.0 here and haven't had any luck with it
doing much of anything but taking-up disk space!  I also found another pdf
converter suggested by the older pc list and could send you a copy of that
one if you were interested in trying.  Since I just downloaded it I haven't
had a chance to put it through it's paces but your welcome to give it a try
and report back if you've got more time than myself!
