Nettamer has some macro writing capability in it. Is that capability
available to open irc sessions? That's something Dave Colston may be able
to answer. In any case perhaps setting [=/privmsg might help and users
could remember to type the [ followed by a space then their message to get
this working. Even so, I think Dana is right and if Linux and Unix users
can send to channels by just typing text in, certainly registered users of
nettamer ought to be able to do likewise. Remember Linux and Unix users can
download; install, and use their versions of irc for free no registration
required. It is true what nettamer offers certainly is a cut down version
of those real irc programs. Perhaps for registered users of nettamer in
future versions Dave Colston might properly be encouraged to put more of the
real irc program features into nettamer.
