Any version of Nettamer will work within a Windows "DOS-box" if
you have a real modem. If you have a psuedo-modem (i.e. a WinModem,
or another type of the same ilk) then you might not be able to run
any DOS communications programs on your machine via dialup connection.
Some psuedo-modems will work with DOS communications programs if you
first start up Windows and then click on
START > SHUT DOWN > RESTART IN MS-DOS MODE.
If you have a psuedo-modem it won't work in native DOS mode.
It *might* work in the DOS mode that you get when you do as
described above. It won't work in a "DOS-box". Real modems will
work in any DOS mode you want. Furthermore, they will work with
almost any operating system.
Good luck!
