Hello Marvin:

In my own experience I have come across two machines with
Windows 95 installed where the modem is not recognized in a
"DOS-box" and it isn't recognized in real mode either;
However, If I start up Windows and then select
START > SHUT DOWN > RESTART IN MS-DOS MODE, then the modem
will be recognized under the "restarted" mode of DOS. This
mode would run Nettamer successfully on both machines.

So, on a machine having Windows 95 installed, some modems
do not have to be recognized by the "DOS-box" for Nettamer
to run successfully.
