Subject: copying data problem?

hi folks,
yes this is a mas mailing, but i am hoping someone will see it and either
post or write me off list.
i have the cable, and have made the changes to my config.sys file.
as told.
now, when i boot the receiving computer i am typing
intersrv
and pressing enter.
my speach is only runing on the source computer, so i amnot sure what
message if any i am getting on the receiving computer.
however if i run msd to check for the drive on the receiving computer i get
the following.
my a, b, and c, drives on the source computer
a d, e, f, drive which are listed as flopy drives with one cilnder,
and a g drive which is the cd rom drive on my source computer.
if i try to read either the d, e, or f, drive i get a drive not ready error.
however i can read the g.

i have two questions,
1, is there a better way to learn if one of the drives is the drive from the
receiving computer?
and
2, are there any commands at all that should be done on the receiving
computer save typing
intersrv?

wait there is onemore.
what should be the order of boot to insure i am getting the right data in
the first place?
thanks,
karen
