First, at that point, you should have a dos window showing the server
(or the "receiving conputer") waiting for a signal from the other conputer.
And you have to boot this one now (or after boot reenter the interlnk
command)

   >my speach is only runing on the source computer, so i amnot sure
   >what message if any i am getting on the receiving computer.
   >however if i run msd to check for the drive on the receiving
   >computer i get the following.
   >my a, b, and c, drives on the source computer
   >a d, e, f, drive which are listed as flopy drives with one cilnder,
   >and a g drive which is the cd rom drive on my source computer.
   >if i try to read either the d, e, or f, drive i get a drive not
   >ready error. however i can read the g.

Something is strange : interlnk can not permit access to CDROM of the server

   >i have two questions,
   >1, is there a better way to learn if one of the drives is the drive
   >from the receiving computer?

You should see a star * blinking on the receiving computer during access

   >and
   >2, are there any commands at all that should be done on the
   >receiving computer save typing
   >intersrv?

include it in autoexec.bat

   >wait there is onemore.
   >what should be the order of boot to insure i am getting the right
   >data in the first place?

the server first the other afterwards

   >thanks,
   >karen
