Actually, this thread is entirely on accessibility. If we can't discuss what
accessibility means to us, how will we opine on what it means for the
country?

On other lists, we have been discussing for years about how to incorporate
real accessibility in documents. Being online is a huge boon, because it
becomes possible to add, for instance (using 24/7 human assisted services,
for instance), translation.

Discussing these things may seem OT on the face of it, but I would like to
believe that the free software movement includes within it possibilities of
organising business in ways that are really quite innovative, and impossible
to implement in a world dominated by conventional wisdom about business. I
do not propose discussing them in this thread, though.
