Copyrights and patents are two different things with different laws
and consequences for violations.

We recognize copyrights for software in India and Free Software
community's argument is that copyright is enough for protecting
authors and there is no need to bring patent also to software.

Adobe, Microsoft etc doing raids are for copyright violations, which
is illegal under Indian laws. But violating software patents are not
illegal. So there is nothing wrong in Microsoft selling Word with the
patented features in India.

We have no role there to play. If at all there is a copyright
violation, then it is between the copyright holder and violator. And
here the above feature is fully legal.
