Dont know about editing but just delivered a video recording system with mpeg4 or theora And mp3 or ogg (or flac or any of the dozen or so codecs in ffmpeg) in ogt or h264 or avi container with ALPHA blending of two live streams, with LIVE text annotation. No I did not write ten thousand lines of code, gstreamer did it in about 6.00000 lines. I feel sortof guilty without adding those zeroes. If you study the client needs, it breaks down to 1/10 of the junk features strung like festering worms in the closed bloats everyone is used to. So what did the client loose in the previous para? Nothing. What did he gain? rock hard stability and a no brainer operations method. -- Rgds JTD _______________________________________________ network mailing list [email protected] http://lists.fosscom.in/listinfo.cgi/network-fosscom.in
