am deliberately posting my response on a public and publicly-archived
mailing list,

yes! am willing to conduct professional workshops on FCP: FOSS for Creative
Professionals
(hehehe! not to be confused with FinalCutPro, obviously), provided:

1) i get paid professional fees for my professional services of 'sweatware'.
See reference for all FOSS-enthusiasts:
'Quit Martydom. Say Yes To Money'
http://www.niyam.com/gnulinux/lfy/fy/FY-monthly-col.php?aug2k8

why?
a) people often think free software means professional-level training and
consulting
must be offered free-of-cost, or at most for a canteen-coupon that gets you
one cup of chai, while you pay for your samosa.

2) show me a transformation and change-management plan that verifies
your FOSS-adoption and deployment is based on solid and sustainable strategy
and not fire-and-brimstone.

why?
a) else participants are often de-motivated and/or resistant to change.
b) such workshops soon disintegrate into training and consulting on propr.
software.
c) all the effort put in by everyone goes to waste.

don't have a plan? Let's work on it first.

too much trouble already?
yup! ain't propr. software suddenly so cool!
hehe!

regards
niyam
