Google's participation in academic programmes may give a different
direction to the programme. A commercial entity's participation should
naturally be suspect here. MHRD too is funding the exercise, and
therefore, we need to appeal not just to IITs/IISc but to MHRD as
well. Public funding definitely cannot be allowed to be hijacked by
Google.
