True, but isn't India a democracy (atleast in paper?). AFAIK, the constitution isn't something built on adamantium. It can be (and MUST be) altered for the citizens' good. State asking me 10% is still wrong unless it has been given power to do that through some valid process. And whenever the people decides not to, that power have to be revoked.
