I do not know enough about Mr Snowden's "as per", since his information is
still being revealed in daily doses via the Guardian, and other media.

I will stipulate, for this argument,  that Mr Snowden provided
inconvertible evidence that the NSA read my email.

So what?  The latter is likely to be a crime, the former is not.
Again latter being crime has been decided by constitution, and if you don't concent than even latter should not be a crime.
