Wow ! That's is very kind of you. In my case it is up to that particular IHV
to decide whether to go this route or not. Although one of the first things
I said to them is that sticking to open source would be the best options
of all.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for sharing their view and opinion. I think
I understand what my options are now.
